Ceramic Raschig Ring

A ceramic Raschig Ring is a common type of regular packing that is still used for filling columns and other installations. The surface ratio is 30% higher than in ceramic cylinders and balls, due to the shape it has high mechanical stability. Raschig ceramic rings are the first development of an random packing. It has a simple shape, the same ratio of height and diameter. Large Raschig rings (≥100 mm) are Packed structurally, and for small sizes < 100 mm they are filled in. Ceramic Raschig rings have excellent resistance, the ability to withstand the effects of various inorganic acids, organic acids and corrosion solvents (except hydrofluoric acid), withstand high temperatures, have a wide range of applications, can be used in the chemical industry, metallurgy, gas industry, drying columns, absorption columns, cooling, scrubbers, regeneration columns.
