Raschig Ring

Raschig Ring rings are used to fill the working volume of the column and other installations. The purpose of use is to increase the intensity of heat exchange and mass transfer processes in chemical, petrochemical, and oil refining equipment. R-Ring is also used in sewage and water supply systems, in the production of ammonia and mineral fertilizers. Rashig rings are irregular packing. Their surface is 30% larger than in cylinders and balls. Rings can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel, polypropylene, PVC, PVDF, ceramic, etc. Acid-resistant ceramic packaging material is used for filling columns and other mass transfer equipment that operates at temperatures no higher than 120 degrees Celsius in an acidic environment.

  1. ethylene extraction columns
  2. separation columns for mass transfer;
  3. absorbers and boiling columns for carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide;
  4. liquid extractors;
  5. carbon monoxide converters;
  6. the accelerating column of dimethyl terephthalate;
  7. NH3 extraction devices;
  8. petrochemical and medical equipment.
